You've Got...

This is a scene from the Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan movie
You've Got Mail.

As I was watching it today, I decided to title this post
You've Got...
 Mail  a Cold.

Look closely at the kitchen counter...

full of cold medicine, tea pot and  tea packages.

and the table...

full of tissues.

Yes, you know what this is.

This is my house

or your house

or your friend's house...

Someone you know

has a cold.

Now, I am not looking for sympathy,

no,

I am just trying to get myself off of the sofa

to do something constructive.

So, if you or someone you love

has a cold,

and can't sleep because of all of the coughing,

and sneezing

and a runny nose,

you have my sympathy.

We're in this together!

Now, back to the sofa.

Would someone please pass me a tissue?

I love that movie. I do NOT love that you have a cold! We are thankfully just fine around here. I'm keeping baby Jacob home and sticking around the house a lot because everyone seems to be sick. Hope you get better soon!

This describes our house over the Christmas holiday weekend. And it continued through New Years. Now hubby started last night and sounds pretty rough tonight. Timing is everything! Hope you are feeling better soon.

This is too cute! Btw, I love those old Meg Ryan movies. And I'm probably late but wanted to say I pray you feel better soon. Since this post was written some time ago and I'm late in reading ...I hope and pray that you are better now.

I've been so behind in reading my favorite blogs. With working full time and lots of changes, it's been difficult. But I will be checking in with you. And thank you for every comment you leave on Heart Choices. I always smile when I see your face.

Blessings and love,
Debbie
