Think on These Things ~ God's Wardrobe for You Includes Kindness

An act of kindness goes far;
it can put a smile on a tired clerk's face,
it can help a mother with a crying child waiting in line,
it can settle a dispute between husband and wife ~
kindness is God's grace in motion,

and kindness is always in fashion.

Just read Colossians 3:12-14 in The Message...

So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.

Beautiful post, Laurie. When we are out and about on errand day, I hold the door for someone, or pass free smiles along. I know how much these things mean to me - and it's so easy to pass it forward.
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
Hugs,
Zuzu

This is a truth that is so needed today...so many opportunities, if we have eyes to see... to show kindness, to encourage, to be a blessing to others

Thankyou so much for coming to my Sunday Post. It means so much to me that you came and posted a comment. That was so kind and thoughtful of you!

I am so touched by your post on Kindness and the words of Mother Teresa whom I have admired my entire life. Kindness is so important and I believe if we all practiced and lived being kind that there would not be the turmoil in the world that there is.

I love the name of your blog. One of my grandmothers name was Nana. So I chose Nann for my grandchildren to call me. It is so endearing.

Thankyou again,

Most Warmly,

Nann
