Yesterday, it was in the 70s here, but today,
the temps are hovering around 42 degrees,
and it is time to curl up with
a cozy throw,
a cup of tea,
a cinnamon spice candle,
and a good book...
You can never get a cup of tea large enough
or a book long enough to suit me. ~C.S. Lewis
I hope you all have a warm and relaxed weekend!

What a perfect photo! It has been chilly here too today. Very cozy indeed!
Oh Laurie, what a gret quote from CS Lewis. And the photo looks so inviting. I love curling up on a comfortable couch with a good book and a cup of tea or ...coffee.
How wonderful to welcome the fall weather. Unfortunately, we're still experiencing hot weather in Phoenix. I can't wait for it to get cooler but the mornings are definitely cooler.
Blessings and love to you,
Debbie
Sounds like nice cozy temps after a hot and humid summer!
My curiosity was piqued... I enlarged your photo to see what you are reading :)
I read The Help this summer and really liked it.
Ohhh, you are sooo right. Curl up I did on the sofa with an old quilt, and my newest Victoria magazine. And I promptly fell asleep! Love your photo! Kit
Sounds wonderful, Laurie! Love that C.S. Lewis quote!
That candle looks so inviting and it's my next favorite scent next to vanilla!
Have a blessed weekend,dear friend.
Brrrrr, that's quite the temp drop!
Stay warm, sweet friend!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs,
Anne
Love the picture, gives a very relaxing scene. I too got out my vanilla candles last night to set the right ambience and warmth. Sunny days here in the UK but cooler nights.
Have a good weekend, Jackie in UK
Oh I love this!!! Thanks for sharing! I love a good book, a cup of coffee or hot tea (if it's evening), a warm blanket and just snuggle when it's cool/cold outside.
Beautiful photo!
Love and hugs!
First off, I am loving that count down to fall on your sidebar. It will tell us when it is *actually* fall. Yay!
It's really chilling off where I live too! I can't wait until the leaves change more.
I am new to your blog and following you. I would love if you stopped by my blog and followed me.
Blessings,
Maggie

Love it! I was actually able to have my back door open for the dogs to go in and out of this morning for a while without it being to hot...there's a nice breeze blowing :)
