Yea! I got out of the house recently, with one day a visit to the doctor and the next day a visit with our daughter Erin and her youngest, Eli. Both days wore me out a little, as I seem to have one of those colds that lasts until spring, but it was SO good to get out and enjoy the warmer temps we have been having (40s). Tomorrow, we are supposed to get cold and snow again, so it has been nice to have a break from it all. But we do not have anything like those of you who live on the east coast!!
I realized that I haven't blogged for quite a while, but really, I don't have a lot to say except I am going to take a few days to visit YOUR blogs and get caught up with your news.
Here are just a few snaps of the JEMS, as they have been leading way more exciting lives than I have lately!
Jack's first ski lesson - he loved it!
Play-Doh fun with Ei and Maya...
Maya and I made muffins after reading "If You Give a Moose a Muffin"...
Eli thrives outside in the snow...
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
I leave you with one of my favorite Psalms...

You will be glad to see Spring roll around, I'll bet! Me too. God bless you. Loved the pics.
What fun the kids look like they're having. They are so lucky to have you close by! I've been busy too, with my new baby who turned 6 weeks today. Life with 3 kids is going really well though, and I enjoy them so much.
I'm sorry you have been sick, Dear. Your grandchildren are beautiful. Praying you will be well soon ~
Psalm 91... a favorite of mine too. Cute photos of your JEMS having some winter fun! I also have a daughter named Erin. The first time I ever heard the name we weren't even married but knew one day, if we had a girl, we would name her Erin. It is our first born's name.
Hope you are able to shake all those hanging-on cold bugs once and for all!
Sweet, sweet faces...such a joy to their Nana!
Love that scripture and the picture!
I didn't realize you were still sick, Laurie. You better stay in the next few days. I keep getting confused where you are, but I think I heard you're getting a monster storm. Yes, it's been horrible here, but tonight we're supposed to only get about three inches, but it's being followed with sleet and ice and then something else is coming tomorrow night. this is unbelievable.
Take care of yourself, Laurie!
