Let's get excited about bathroom fixtures!

The hole has been dug for our new cottage, and the details are all picked out,
inside and outside. In fact, I made a few changes today just under the wire
before the order went in. Here are a few items...

Bancroft? pedestal lavatory
This is the pedestal sink for the powder room.We have pedestal sinks
in both of our current baths, but this will be the only one in the new house.
I love how traditional it looks!

This is the sink that will go into the vanity of the master bath. We did
a standard choice there so that we could get the pedestal.

And this is the faucet that will go in both baths.
I love how it looks, traditional yet updated.

I don't have a picture of the vanity, but it will be a simple, shaker style
in a pearl finish, a white with a little subtle color, sort of between white and vanilla.
The same cabinets will be in the kitchen.

The pulls for both the kitchen and master bath are these:

Aren't they a bit funky?
At first, we picked a more traditional like this...

but we finally went with a more updated look.

I am hoping to pull off a mix of updated traditional with
antiques, with a neutral background and touches of color,
such robin's egg blue.

Something like these...

and this...

Yes, He is!

Chorus to God is Good All the Time
by Don Moen

God is good all the time
He put a song of praise in this heart of mine
God is good all the time
Through the darkest night, His light will shine
God is good, God is good all the time

Very nice fixtures, I love my vanity, has the bar lights over the top and drawers, but this kind is very neat and clean, hope you enjoy it, have a very blessed day, and stay cool.

Looking good! Love the choices you made.

At a very discouraging and difficult time in our lives, my daughter Jill sent me a link t0 Don Moen's song 'I will sing'. It is amazing!
