A 4-Year-Old's Perspective

Maya came for a visit the other day, and asked if she could use our camera.
I am always curious as to what she will photograph,
and I take comfort in knowing I can delete the ones that may show me unfavorably!
She snapped this 4-year-old's view of a lamp in our living room,
and I was struck by the perspective as well as the lighting,
almost as if it was done in sepia.
It was perfect for the blog!
So, I share it here and will show it to her when she comes on our day together,
and we will talk about Matthew 5:14-16.
Sometimes a 4-year-old's perspective is best!

You are the light of the world.

A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.

Instead they put it on its stand,

and it gives light to everyone in the house.

In the same way, let your light shine before others,

that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:14-16
