It snowed all afternoon yesterday and accumulated a couple of inches, but this morning we woke up to about 6 inches, and it is absolutely beautiful outside! Lucy, our Golden Retriever, and I went out to play in the backyard; she ran around believing once again that the snow was God's special gift for her, and I took a few photos to share.
It's a good thing that most of the birds have flown south for the winter...
Jack's Tree Stand...
The view from our front door...
The red door on the side of our garage...
I hope you stay warm and cozy in your part of the world!

Oh how lovely! We have snow in the forecast for tomorrow night into Wednesday. I must say speaking of the birds that we get more of them coming to the feeders when it snows than any other time. They come from nowhere it seems and eat so much. I try to keep plenty of seed around this time of year. I enjoy watching them!
Thanks, Maxine! It has been quite a snowy winter in so many parts of the country; we have gotten off easy in MT compared to the midwest. Please post a few of your snowy day pictures on your blog for us to enjoy! It is always a blessing to hear from you!
