Jack's Outdoor Activities

Our grandson Jack recently went to a fishing derby with my husband,
and Grandpa took these photos of Jack's catches. The fish may have
been small, but the day was a big success. Happy Pappy, Jack's
midwest grandpa, taught Jack how to fish when Jack was a little sprout!
Way to go, Pappy!

Jack and his dad, John, went rock climbing on the Rims nearby.
It was Jack's first time climbing, and John was able to get a few
pictures of the big event. The other picture is of John holding Eli,
perhaps a future rock climber?

Awww....I have a Jack too, my 9 year old. Thanks so much for your kind words on my post. They will not allow any phone calls at this camp...which I understand for that very reason of feeling home sick. I am glad your daughter stuck it out. Your mosaic is beautiful as is your grandson!

Adorable! I also have pictures like that when my kids were little. Holding up that tiny fish...precious!

Wonderful photos, Laurie. they remind me of my son at that age as he loved to go fishing. Now he has a little toddler boy ( my only gtrandchild so far) and I'm sure he'll teach him to fish one day.
