A Welcomed Rainy Day

I woke up this morning to the sound of thunder and a gentle chorus of rain on the roof of our home.  I smiled with thankfulness for the rainshowers God began yesterday, along with cool, and I mean cool temperatures. The mosaic above is just a quick little view of yesterday's downpour, and it gently rained through the night and continues to rain today. The temperature is in the 50s, and I cannot believe we have gone from capris and tees and temps in the 90s to jeans, long sleeve shirts, and even socks! I'm lovin' it!

For I will pour water on the thirsty land,
and streams on the dry ground;
I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,
and my blessing on your descendants.
Isaiah 44:3

Wishing we were having some of those refreshing rainshowers too. It was 96 today and will be hot for days with no rain in sight.

Isn't that verse wonderful. Especially relating to our offspring. I will be praying that one for our youngest.

I love rain. It figures that I live in the middle of the Phoenix desert where we get so little rain. But when it does rain, I really appreciate it and get excited. I love the pictures you took to share.

Blessings and love,
Debbie

Hello Laurie,
I do not know where you are leaving but it must be in the south because your temps are very high for the season, aren't they ?
Here in the Paris region, the autumn is going to show up for the light has changed and the night are fresh.
I want to thank you for visiting my artblog so often and for leaving kind comments.
I do not have always the time to visit each person but I try and be advised that your comments are very appreciated.
I wish you a nice week, dear Laurie and thank you again.
